The Competition and Markets Authority published its Final Report on the UK veterinary sector in March 2026. The resulting Order is legally binding on all veterinary practices operating in the UK. Independent practices with fewer than fifteen first opinion sites have until March 2027 to comply with the majority of requirements. If you are an independent practice, it applies to you.
